How To Replace The Throttle On A CMD65 Backpack Fogger Leaf Blower

Effortlessly start, stop, and control your spray patterns all in one throttle. Use the power lock to set your ideal spray speed, lock it, and maintain a steady fogging coat. If your backpack fogger is not spraying at its best, it might be time to look at replacing the throttle.
Need to replace your backpack fogger's throttle? Here's how:
What You Will Need:
- Backpack Fogger (CMD65)
- Throttle Control Assembly Handle
- Allen Wrench
- 8mm Wrench
- Phillip Head Screwdriver
Instructions:
Step 1:
Remove the air filter cover by untwisting the top and bottom knobs.
Step 2:
Remove the air filter.
Step 3:
Use an Allen wrench to remove both screws along with the back of the air filter cover.
Step 4:
Use an 8mm wrench to unscrew the old throttle from the carburetor.
Step 5:
Use a Philip head screwdriver to remove the screw on the throttle handle.
Step 6:
Remove the old throttle handle from the arm.
Step 7:
Attach the new throttle handle to the arm.
Step 8:
Use a Phillip head screwdriver to secure the new throttle handle in the desired spot.
Step 9:
Attach the new throttle to the carburetor and tighten using an 8mm wrench.
Step 10:
Slide the two screws, along with the back of the engine housing, onto the carburetor and into the engine housing.
Step 11:
Use an Allen wrench to secure everything in place.
Step 12:
Insert the air filter cover.
Step 13:
Twist top and bottom knobs to tighten.
Now that you have a brand new throttle, your backpack fogger is ready to spray!
